I am the type of person who always has to be busy doing something. Anything! As long as I am not wasting time. So as a result, I have a very long To-Do list (admittedly self inflicted). In addition to the day to day things of a SAHM, I'm always working on a project or two and have plenty more waiting in the wings to start when I have time.

I thought it would be fun to keep a record of all the projects I actually finish and that a blog would be a great, creative way to do it. Who knows, maybe it'll also force me to actually finish all the projects I start!

Due to my Scottish ancestry, I am also incredibly frugal (though I should really just come out and say "cheap"). Because of that tendency, I often find myself thinking, "why pay someone else when I can do this myself" or "how can I do this without spending a lot of money?" Many of my projects tend to fall into the money saving DIY or craft category. Thankfully, I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty, scratched, pricked, painted, stained or roughed up by sandpaper, which is just slightly necessary if I want to do things myself on the cheap!

I'll be the first to admit, none of my project ideas are terribly original. But hopefully sometimes I tweak the idea enough or put a new twist to it so that it makes it a little different and worth a look.

I'm always looking for new projects, so if anyone has any ideas. . . .
